Designed to tackle fine lines and uneven complexions, it's currently on sale at Boots and Amazon with £10 savings

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed her pre-proposal skin prep in her most recent YouTube video, admitting she had no idea that Tommy was about to ask her to marry him. The former Love Island star shared a ‘realistic day in the life’ video as she packed for a last minute getaway to Ibiza, where the professional boxer would get down on one knee to pop the question.

In the half-hour episode, titled ‘A very realistic day in my life… unknowingly prepping for my engagement’, Molly Mae shared her morning routine with six-month-old Bambi before putting the tot down for a mid-morning nap.

During her free hour, the 24-year-old explained how she likes to take time to complete her skincare routine while the baby sleeps, and went on to apply the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical 12% Pure Vitamin C Serum.

Applying the serum , Molly said: “This product just leaves my skin looking so glowy and fresh and it also helps with anti-ageing,” going on to say it made her skin ‘come alive’ and gave it a glowy boost.

On her channel, the new mum has previously spoken up about using anti-ageing skincare in her 20s as a preventative measure, and L’Oreal explains that this is because “in our 20s environmental damage and oxidative stress begin to take its toll on our skin and first visible signs of ageing appear’.

Their vitamin c serum aims to tackle that dull and uneven complexion, visible pores and first signs of fine lines with help from a powerhouse combination of skincare ingredients like Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E to offer brighter and smoother looking skin.

Suitable for all skin types the formula is uniquely stabilised at a higher pH of 6, closer to the skin’s natural pH, to prevent irritation and ensure a comforting application. The texture is non-greasy and hydrating, providing a smooth, luminous base for make-up.

Usually £29.99, the L’Oreal serum is currently a third off at Boots, coming in at £19.99, saving shoppers a tenner on the celeb-approved skincare secret, however, it’s even cheaper on Amazon, coming in at £19.52.

Shoppers have left reviews as glowing as their skin, with the beauty buy amassing hundreds of five star reviews from customers. One said: “I’m going through the menopause and my skin was really bad with large pores but after using this for a few weeks my skin is transformed and my pores have reduced considerably so much so I don’t feel the need to have to wear makeup everyday which is a life changer.”

Another added: “Decided to purchase this as it was on offer and to give it a try. I use a more expensive vitamin C however this works just as good for a fraction of the price of my higher brand.”

The L’Oreal version does come in cheaper than some of the other popular brands like La Roche Posay’s , who’s Pure Vitamin C 10 serum comes in at £45, although there are some more affordable options available from the likes of Revolution or Nip and Fab.

But if it’s Molly’s glowing skin you’d like to achieve, you can pick up your own bottle of the L’Oreal serum on Amazon for £19.52 here.
